Jules Hall is the civilian assistant and advisor to General Victor Anderson. Given that they call each other by first names, they seem to have a friendly relationship

outside of work.

 

Jules is generally quiet and doesn’t display much emotion. He is exceptionally tech savvy as evidenced by the fact that he hacked through the security and surveillance systems on the military base he is stationed at, to allow Benjamin Saunders' escape.

 

Although he virtually hid behind Victor when the husky was confronted by General North, Jules later displays serious bravery. When Victor was ambushed by dire wolves, Jules rushed to his aid without hesitation.
